This is a really tasty cab with an earthy but clean taste. Some peppermint and orange with cherry in there. Go get it! — 9 years ago
Recommended by an employee at Total Wine and definitely not disappointed! Very fruit forward, but not sweet. Easy to drink fast. Best on the second pour. Drank with Lindt Excellence Dark chocolate with a touch of sea salt. — 9 years ago

Perfect! Light and flavorful--Delicious! — 11 years ago
This is an urban boutique winery's showcase wine. It' big and chewy without losing its prettiness. Nose is medium(+) intensity with plum, blackberry, nutmeg, and dry earth. Palate shows sweet, chewy tannins, bright acidity, black fruit, baking spices, dark cocoa powder, and americano coffee. Finish is long and delicious. — 12 years ago

Part of Woodland's 6 for $60. First one of the bunch. Delicious the first day. Day two not as much. Still definitely worth it. I'd buy it again. — 13 years ago

Solid Cab Franc from one of my favorite Finger Lakes wineries. — 10 years ago
Dom Perignon 1964, in magnum, shared today with Jacques Pepin on a Global Express 5000 to the Aspen Classic. I brought a Spanish porron (i.e., wine bong) and Jacques was game. Incredibly, the Champagne still had bubble, along with terrific hazelnut, brioche flavors. The landing was extra smooth and Jacques – In his cool broken English – said he thought it was because the flight attendant must have slipped him some of the DP. Fine by me. Best pre-1970's Champagne I've had.

Thank you Delta airlines for my gift. Excellent Rioja. Medium/full body, dark berry flavor, great with red meat or chicken. — 12 years ago
Fresh and crisp on the intake, round as it hits the back of the throat and a long graceful finish. One of our favorite ethical wineries, Solms Delta, this earthy wine is bright cherry rose. — 13 years ago

Unusual for Abe not to have notes for a wine on his site, but this one has always been blank. I assumed from the name that it was a potpourri of Sacramento River Delta wines and that proved to be correct. A retail site notes that this is a cofermentation of Albariño, Chardonnay, Grüner Veltliner, Pinot Grigio and Verdelho from the Lost Slough Vineyard, then blended with 14% Whole cluster Riesling. Complex nose with a little funk, and acid for days. Interesting wine. — 9 years ago
