Brighr, fruity. Wonderful. — 9 years ago
De Venoge has one of my favorite and solid line ups from their N.V. up through their Louis XV line. This particular chardonnay based Cordon Bleu is unique and beautiful. Brut but not on the more bone dry side. On the nose is the lovely smell of unpasteurized honey with beeswax, spread on a freshly baked English muffin, with some lemon undertone, mousse, and fig preserves. Definitely one that even people who say they don't prefer brut champagne do enjoy! If I could drink a true champagne day to day in this price range, this would be one of a select few I would choose! — 9 years ago

A very tasty champagne. Not a close friend of champagnes, but this one is very much one I like. — 9 years ago

From trip to France. Only bought one bottle. Worth getting more. About €24 for the bottle in France. — 9 years ago
Arguably the best Cordon Bleu champagne they make. This one has the weight I tend to enjoy of the Pinot Noir heavy Reim wines, and beautiful bisquity aromas, golden pears, creamy mouthfeel, fine bubbles, and drinks like a vintage champagne. Very complex and definitely for people who like the style of champagnes such as Veuve Cliqout. I would be absolutely happy to serve this to anyone. — 9 years ago
