Interesting concept where small quality productions are sold as futures. Dark garnet color. Aromas of black cherry, plum, graphite and dark chocolate. Pallet is very fruit forward noting ample black cherry, black currant and blackberry flavors. Nice amount of oak on the long finish. Medium plus body. Juicy and concentrated. Sophisticated and elegant bouquet of strawberry, vanilla, flowers, forest floor and dried figs. Juicy, delicious and easy going négoce Pinot Noir by one of the owners of Chandon de Briailles. Still has potential but already quaffable.

2020 vintage. Everything is great these days at Jaboulet (négoce wines and estate wines alike) and this Côte Rôtie is no exception. "Les Jumelles" (French for " twins" ) is a blend of Côte Blonde and Côte Brune. It is a terrific effort in a vintage that maintained impressive freshness in a very hot year.
