Light ruby-orange color; surprisingly rich full nose of ripe red fruit, mostly strawberry, and complex aromas of earth, diesel, rubber, acetone, and dried black fruit; delicious on the palate with mouthwatering high acids, silky fine tannins, and a tight precise finish. Wow! — 9 years ago

Super fun style with bags of character. Quite like a Grenache with very bright red cherry, spice plum, liquorice, cloves, cinnamon and a cedar, tobacco touch. Lightly tannic, soft, with light acidity but bags of strawberry, raspberry and plum on the palate. Perhaps a little jammy, but the brightness counters this well. — 10 years ago

Definite blackberry on the nose with a hint of pepper on the mid palate. Reminds me of Zinfandel from the same region. Would recommend letting it breathe a bit before tasting. — 9 years ago
