Was pretty unimpressed upon opening, but really came to life in an unexpected way the next day. Fresh leather, spiced cherry, star anise, sweet dirt, cedarwood, truffle, black licorice candy. Rich and long on the palate, with a bit of jamminess- from the Syrah undoubtedly. — 9 years ago
Bit thin and candyish on opening. Actually got better on day two. — 11 years ago
My favorite pinot. Had it on a wonderful day at the vineyard. Best experience on the trip! — 11 years ago

Really wonderful. Incredible, complex and layered aromas, almost lavish with fruit. Structured for the future and accessible right now #delicious part of our domestic-focused winelist debuting this weekend--just in time for Patriots' Day — 9 years ago
Both liked, slightly sweet, Erin liked better the second day. Held up very well — 10 years ago

Good with a bit of VA on day 1. Wonderful fruit, structure. Day 2 at peak...a bit softer fruit. VA gone. Day 3 hardened up a bit..does this mean closing down, or over?
Really nice wine.
So my guess best in 3yrs — 11 years ago

I love these wines. Very light bodied, good acid. A smokiness to it which worked well with the 30 day aged New York steak from Marin sun farms. It has a fresh raspberry flavor that makes it nice and tart. — 9 years ago
