Definitely needs to open up. Was sweet on the first sip. Significant fruit tones at the outset and got dry as it opened. I would give it a good half hour and drink and enjoy. Solid choice. — 10 years ago

2006. 8yr old Zin from Lodi. This used to be a bruiser of a wine. Now it's quite balanced, nuanced, and at the end of its life. Very vegetal with green bean and English pea aromas, balsam, and tasting of an amalgam of stewed raisined cherry, black currant , oak, mushroom, and white pepper. 16.5%abv. — 13 years ago
