One of the best! — 2 months ago
A proprietary blend, made by Founder and Winemaker Dave Phinney, from Chardonnay, Roussanne, Viognier, Chenin Blanc, Muscat, and Vermentino from California. Golden yellow color with aromas of tropical and citrus fruit and melons, aged, 25% in new oak, 60% neutral & 15% stainless for 10 months. On the palate flavors of melons, citrus, and pears, hints of cinnamon spice and toasty oak. Long finish, lively acidity, good balance ending with fruit and mineral character. — 2 years ago
Excellent Chardonnay. Love the crisp, tart, lovely white wine. — 5 years ago

Really nice, light, but full flavor and a nice peppery finish. From@Naked Wines. Tasted 8 March 2023 — 3 years ago
He’s baaaack! Second Zinfandel Blend for Dave Phinney after his non-compete clause expired. Intense aromas of wild raspberries, figs and black pepper along with hints of fennel seed and Forrest Floor. Lush fruit on the pallet (blackberry, currant and plums) along with hints of minerals and fresh herbs. Tannins are in balance with the acidity. Interesting blend. — 5 years ago

My friend @Dave had this recently and said it was drinking well so I pulled one of my bottles. I struggle to find food that good Bordeaux shines with. Maybe our cooking wheelhouse doesn’t click with it. In any event, AFTER dinner this wine seemed really good. Nose is developing some nice complexity, with dark cassis, roasted Persian spices, cedar, moist gray clay, a bit of sweet wafty smoke. Rich and softening nicely in the mouth, with cigar box and cassis/plummy flavors, and some flinty minerality in the finish. I almost always like wine with food better than just wine, but not this. This is really fine to sip and contemplate. Great value. — a month ago
