This wine is singing right now. It's perfumed with floral, berry, spice, and kiss of roast coffee aromas. On the palate it's fresh with a velvety texture and well integrated tannins and blackberry compote, black cherry, a bit of blueberry and spice flavors with a long finish. — 9 years ago

Quite the baby since it's not even released yet, but has plenty of potential. From 40+ year-old vines from Todd Bros Ranch in red volcanic soils, just bottled last month after 18 in French barriques. Minerality of the soil jumps out of the glass right away, but needs air to let the fruit and tannin really come into play. — 10 years ago
