I love this Merlot. Welcome back you wonderful wine to the world that has forgotten you. This is a big merlot with a deep dark color and nose that strongly suggests tar, cigar box and all things hearty!! Long finish, luxurious....brilliant. — 7 years ago
Not as good as the 2007 but you can say that about nearly every Napa winery. Still has a great nose and long finish. You can taste the balance and its really peaking. — 8 years ago

We’re tasting Pinots today and this was the overall favorite, although Darioush was a close runner up. Also tasted were Morey-St-Denis, chateau de la greffiere, stoller, and chehalem. Great afternoon. Loved the nose, the color, and the depth. — 6 years ago
Darioush Sauvignon blanc - light and tasty. Good. But I think I like spring mtn better 2016 — 6 years ago
The second 2013 napa cab I drank tonight and one I preferred over the Darioush. Great structure to this wine, fruit forward with notes of blueberries and licorice. Not as oaky as the other Napa cab, well balanced and tasting exquisitely right now. — 7 years ago
Warning! I am not a huge white wine drinker but the weather in Houston dictates I have something a little more lite and chilled. This wine lacks a powerful nose but I get a lite hint of floral and citrus. On the palate it screams lemon (in a great way) along with some peach and a slight amount of creaminess. A very nicely balanced wine that is not over-oaked or over extracted. Great for a late spring day in H-town. — 8 years ago
50/50 sav blanc and semillon. Amazing honey and pear, cooked apples. — 8 years ago
This is 100% Malbec and Darioush bought this vineyard it is made by Steve Devit and has that California style to the wine — 11 years ago
Color me impressed by this baby Quintessa. For a 2015, this was amazingly accessible. Personally, I think this is the best Faust vintage I’ve had to date. Nose was more floral than jammy, with violets, blackberries, nutmeg and some blueberries. Well balanced and approachable on the palate, with a nice black cherry/blueberry finish.
As a side note, there is a new label change starting with the 2015. Almost looks like a Darioush label 🤔. — 6 years ago
Ordered this from home, not while in Napa. — 7 years ago
Hard to give it dull@marks following a 2012 Darioush Cab, but otherwise quite nice. — 8 years ago

Similar to the Darioush, Del Dotto’s signature style comes through here with big and bold flavors. 6-7yrs on this has probably helped tone it down as it wasn’t super in the face. Good acidity. Baked mixed berry pie, cedar, peppercorn covered black cherries. Fairly sweet for a pinot. — 5 years ago
