Very well done white wine. It comes from an area where the climate helps building freshness and aromas. Tried cold but very nice also at room temperature. Not only citrus fruit, but also white peach on the nose/palate. — 5 years ago
Catching up with recently enjoyed bottles. Simply put, one of the best Reds I have had. — 6 years ago

DELICIOUSS HOLY SHIT! — 10 years ago
Enjoyable, solid value Brunello Di Montalcino at €22 across Milan train station. Notes of cherry plum and blackberry fruits combine with a complex mixture of smokey vanilla undergrowth which imparts earthy leather undertones. Medium body. Decent 2hr min, as there are strong tannins (Also probably drinking this a few years young) for a 2014 in 2020. — 4 years ago

An interesting and fruity #Syrah. Enjoyed this bottle on an unexpectedly stormy day on the Cape, so it was fitting given the weather. Here, the bottle is pictured posing with a garish sculpture found in our Airbnb. Needless to say, we preferred the bottle to the sculpture. 🗿 — 6 years ago
2015 vintage. Drank in July 2017. $14.55 CAD. Pale to medium yellow with presence of very tiny bubbles. On the nose; fruits and yellow Lifesavers (lemon candy). On the palate: fresh and crisp, pineapple. Very much enjoyed and would buy it again.

Third wine of the evening for the Strathcona fire fit fundraising night. 700 years in the wine business. Can't go wrong. This is a great #sangiovese — 8 years ago
Awesome wine, nice to find this in the sea of red wine while I was in Tuscany — 9 years ago

Bright & fresh — 10 years ago
Lovely bright sprightly dessert wine. Apple-y? But with lots of complexity beyond sweetness. Maybe orange, figs, almonds. A touch of sherry character. Not quite like anything else. $50 retail. — 11 years ago
Dark ruby red to the edge. Dry full bodied with nice balance of fruit and tannins. — 4 years ago
Fresh, balanced, some nut and raspberry. Paired with lamb and feta stuffed cavolo nero, salciccia and potatoes. — 4 years ago
Aromas of dark plums, wet leaves, and pencil lead; with added smokey and deep flavors of tobacco, dark chocolate, and maybe a hint of potpourri! The tannins are beefy yet elegant and evolved, and with the bright acidity and high alcohol (14.5%) means this is a “big” Super Tuscan. — 6 years ago
Super Tuscan with Sangiovese and Merlot. Leather on the nose followed by black fruit on the taste. Medium to strong complexity on the mouth feel and finish. I'd definitely order it again. — 7 years ago
— 8 years ago
Pale lemon color. Aromas and flavors of honey, straw, melon, fresh apple. Bright acidity. Medium + finish. — 9 years ago
A perfectly aged Tuscan Cabernet with notes of tobacco, dried cherry, crushed stone and exotic spice. The palate is intense with a twang of tongue curling acidity. Dried fruit and floral tones last long on the finish. — 9 years ago
