Very pale salmon color. When first poured, lots of melon on the nose; cantaloupe, honeydew, watermelon. As it warms a bit, bubblegum aromas pick up along with wet stones. Great aromatics for a cotes de Provence. Very simple palate; crisp and light. Watermelon rind, tart apricot, hints of red berries. Finishes quickly. A wonderful example of Barsac. High notes of jasmine, honeysuckle, and pineapple syrup. On the palate these were harmonized with pleasantly burnt honey and candied apple.
