Smelled like walking down the Grand Canyon during a light rain ... But that's because I walked down the Grand Canyon string a light rain and know this is from the desert mountains in the southwest ... This also smells like I'm about to start drinking a liter of jack Daniels and smoking a desert joint and get dangerously close to a herd of pack mules ... — 11 years ago

I wasn't thrilled with this one when it went to bottle, but for me it has really come around. Very floral, intense aromatics. Ironically I get the too much oak comment... yet this was in only 6+ year old barrels. ??? — 11 years ago
The grooves in the barrel give the whiskey extra contact with the oak. It's drier and more oaky than regular Jack Daniels. The finish almost reminds me of a highlands scotch. — 11 years ago
A tannic monster, cedar Rutherford dust and dark berries on the nose. This bottle would make Gustav Niebaum and John Daniels proud. — 11 years ago
Ale taken to another level. A touch of Jack Daniels barrel aging makes a fantastic beer to sip as a cocktail — 12 years ago

Inviting peach aromas on the nose with a subtle oaky creaminess followed by a stony, nutty maturity on the palate. Featuring three of my favourite grapes - Roussanne, Grenache Blanc, and Marsanne - this wine is ageing very well. @Wilson Daniels — 11 years ago
