A lot going on the nose. Red fruit, black fruit, meat, leather. Would be a good wintertime wine. Too bad they’re sold out at Kermit Lynch. Devin gave it 💯 — 4 years ago
Leather, tinder box, licorice, white pepper. It’s soooo drinks like a CDP. Whatta beauty — 5 years ago
So much richness and texture yet so drinkable. Phenolic and engaging. Subtleties abound, from white and orchard blossoms, citrus and stone fruits, beeswax, olive, radish, white pepper, tea leaves, stones. Approachable, elegant, yet cerebral enough to maintain conversation. — 6 years ago
Very berry 👍 — 6 years ago
джем из садовой вишни, с нотами лакрицы и розового перца, оттенки сухой пыльной земли. Много остаточного алкоголя, кислотность низкая; полнотелое, можно еще подождать — 8 years ago
Incredibly fresh! Red fruit, slightly meaty and mineral. Such a crushable wine — 8 years ago
First of Red Burg trio at Wallflower. Bigtime fruit with developing structure. This was my second favorite. — 10 years ago

Fabulous pinot noir to accompany our or of the ordinary surf and turf. Beautiful wine, on its own and with a meal. What a wonderful discovery! — 5 years ago
Quite tannic, under-developed and I get a over-riding stemmy note from this Ech. Im not getting too much in the way of pure fruit. It could just be young or it may be a fermentation style that utilizes more stems with the clusters. Perhaps somebody with more experience with this maker can illuminate things for me. — 6 years ago
Consumed 12/2017. Full rich flavors of berry, Cassis and black cherry with hints of vanilla in the background. Aging with French oak adds complexity and depth, resulting in a high-quality Cabernet with great value. For me, this wine has to breath for a couple of hours before I like it. — 6 years ago
Smooth with big berry flavor — 7 years ago
Old reliable. Always one of my favorite Rhones. Heavyish-medium body, heavy fruit, medium tannin, great food complement, mouthy. Even drinks well alone & is friendly enough not to overpower cheese or light hors d'oeuvre. — 9 years ago
1990 vintage - stored always in the same cellar in optimal conditions, decanted before drinking - a great complex mysterious multiple layer aged Pinot, very earth and tertiary connected wine, with power and finesse in the same time - a great experience 😊 — 10 years ago
I was curious about longevity of this wine. Popped and poured and just delicious. — 4 years ago
$45 bottle; was much lighter than other CdP, more like a Pinot. — 5 years ago
Kath Lucas has a great pour. — 6 years ago
Superb color; good stain on the cork. Deep cherry nose with rich Pinot flavors. Lovely balance and aftertaste. Good for another 10 years. — 7 years ago

Interesting. Some age on it now and a lovely amber color. Rich and oxidative. Not where my tastes have evolved but really quite good. — 2 years ago
