Loads of warm earth and bright red fruit. Definitely layers to think about but still easy. It went too quickly but I’d like to try it again after it’s spent some time in the fresh air. Started off just a little rude but in a cute way. Great value! Very good taste! — 8 years ago

(16.5/20) Вино с ароматами спелой сливы, гранатового сока, мороженого пломбир и черного перца. Достаточно тельное с умеренной кислотностью и мягкими танинами. Отличный баланс и концентрация вкусов. — 9 years ago

Love an oxidative red. Monastrell in a very kooky iteration; still dark fruit but evened out by air. A great, interesting red with lots of potential. — 12 years ago
Fruit forward--cherries and red plum, faint spicines or note of cacao. Silky palate, long finish.
Bloody marvelous for $11 a bottle here in Washington, D.C. — 7 years ago
Pale red in color. Medium to light body. Low tannins. Medium acidity. Dusty, lemon, herbs.
Ever buy a wine for its label? I do. I'm a sucker for traditional looking labels. This one has a Spanish feel to it. Sometimes you luck out and the wine is as pretty as the label. — 7 years ago
Floral and bright! All the tannin. A lot of wine for $9. Wg — 8 years ago
A decent red, dry finish. — 9 years ago
Another orange character! Very floral nose - kitchen windowbox daisies and grandma's perfume. Light terracotta color and dryness. Savory fruit tingle acid, contact funk, bottle sediment. Fun stuff and great value. — 9 years ago
El Sequé, Monastrell de Alicante. Extraordinario equilibrio de azúcar y acidez. — 10 years ago
Zippy alcohol and acidity with a light body. Smells like pure cherries but taste is all spice and tobacco. Took awhile to open up but very much enjoyed. — 11 years ago
Spanish Vermut. No me jodas, tio! — 12 years ago
$5.69 at Costco and awesome! Dry and woody but still smooth in the finish. Deep flavor. I liked! — 13 years ago
Delectable Wine

Inky ruby color. Ripe dark berries, singed plum, candied licorice and woodsmoke on the deeply perfumed nose. Made in a weighty, ripe style, offering bitter cherry, cassis and fruitcake flavors that are energized by a late jolt of spiciness. Broad, chewy and smoky on the clinging finish, which features mounting tannins and impressively persistent dark fruit liqueur character. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, April 2019) — 6 years ago
