Drank 4/26/18 at a tasting event.
2nd wine of Climens. Nose of pineapple and honeyed apricots, with some slight volatility that blows off after a few minutes. Flavors of pineapple and some light honey, without the depth or richness of the Climens. Decent wine, but would vastly prefer the Doisy Vedrines for around the same price.

That one time corbières was rich on fruit and low in alcohol — 9 years ago
Nice color and aromatics of caramel and toffee. 39 years and shows a mix of age and soft maturity. Best with a light fruit based dessert like lemon or lime based cake perhaps. Fun to share at Bourbon Steak @ Levi Stadium. — 5 years ago
A little barnyard on the nose, slight chewy tannins but very light and chuggable with lots of ripe strawberry. Easy drinking juice! — 5 years ago

I’m not a big syrah fan but this is a well balanced beautiful Syrah — 5 years ago
Super fruity. Not acidic and not velvety. Sharp nose. — 5 years ago
Heck of a 3rd Friday to kick off the holidays!
This was my first time with this producer. All the typical Sauternes notes of honeyed fruits, marmalade, toasted cashews...the sweetness wasn’t as precise as Rieussec, Climens or Guiraid up front, but it had the aromatics and front, mid palate in spades. Drinking well now but clearly no rush. — 5 years ago
Madame of the Chateau was there in the Joanne booth at VinExpo who was charming but this wine just shined even without her presence. Tasted more of Climens in Barsac. Elegant and just grabs your attention...super lengthy finish! — 10 years ago
