beautiful purple, intense dress. on the nose, notes of fresh black fruits, blackberries, blueberries, ripe plums, candied notes, round and enveloping tannins. a magnificent development in the mouth, giving to taste complex aromas. this light, rich and fruity wine will age more years giving very interesting roasted aromas. today it is a delightful wine to accompany all your meals. — 7 years ago
I barely have words to describe the breadth of this verbous 165th. Full of character - lemon and peach, spice and melon, brioche and berry. Try hard enough and everything is there. The body is full and the acid is high and mouth snapping. I found myself making goldfish faces enjoying this wonderful blend. Bravo Krug. I can’t wait to see you again. — 8 years ago
Brassy brilliant color.
Golden delicious apple, Bartlett pear, light lychee nose.
Liw viscosity with medium acidity with a tingle and grip on the finish.

Found in a wine shop in bigfork, Montana. On a two week trip we bought 3 bottles. Good acid, not too heavy or thick, no oak taste,, perfect with food — 6 years ago
2017 vintage. Concentrated fruit flavors of apricot nectar, perfectly ripe peaches, mango, pineapple, lychee, a little green banana skin, jasmine, a saffron note. Definite sweetness, but the acid comes through and delivers a very long finish. — 7 years ago
Needs a lot of air, but once it opens, it reveals a wine with so much grace. Tart red cherries, under ripe strawberries, green stems, and lots of acidity. — 8 years ago
100 year old vines. Like the best vernacchia with a long finish — 9 years ago
