Smooth flavor but no back bite — 10 years ago
MACO-SWAB This talented duo deserve accolades for their contribution to wine. Few have heard of Pouilly-Loché, an appellation in the Mâcon where Céline and Laurent Tripoz cultivate eleven hectares. An aromatic harem that is bursting with luscious red berries. A Pinot Noir that will age beautifully over the next 5-7 years. Valeur Exceptionnelle. -DM — 12 years ago
Mineral and lemon rind nose, lemon meringue and bright acid in the mouth. — 12 years ago
Olfactory very subtle floral note
Taste. Light, crisp, with a consistent body and lightly dry finish.
Overall this is a 26 dollar range wine that delivers. The 2013 vintage has more to offer than the 2014. But pino is difficult difficult to grow and cultivate — 9 years ago
Italy granted the great wine making family Mastroberardino exclusive permission to cultivate and harvest wines on the land of the ancient Roman city of Pompeii destroyed by Mt. Vesuvio. The soil offers depth to the flavor of a great Aglianico in the ancient tradition of Italy. Complex, but needs to age more. — 11 years ago
Very authentic style, that's how Viognier should taste like, lovely restraint stone fruit and subtle toast; very balanced and fresh with great mineral purity. Perhaps not as intense as the top offering 'Chery' but very stylish already. Excellent effort for such a difficult-to-cultivate variety. — 12 years ago
When I first moved to NY, I worked with a guy who was, well, maybe connected. Like Tony Soprano connected. And he went to I Trulli a LOT. And so I was inspired to try it and it. was. good. Back for only my 2nd time, the all-Italian wine list is certainly intimidating, but I know the Nebbiolo grape, as finicky as it may be, is one people respect, and nurture, and cultivate into something gorgeous. This Barolo is awesomely-paired with my arugula and fresh parm salad - star anise (maybe a theme here?!), cherry, blackberry to the nose. I respect a good Barolo in that this grape requires optimal conditions to flourish, and altho it's such a small part of the Piedmont output, it's often the most coveted. I Trulli love you. 😉 Now bring on the pasta! #bepicky #barolo — 9 years ago
Fruit bomb...balanced with nice finish. — 11 years ago
This wine is the same blend every year 80/20 Sangiovese and Malvasia nera. This traditional varietal is very difficult to cultivate it is a late harvester the last grape to be picked. They use all French oak new for the first three months then they transfer the wines to older barrels for the rest of the aging period. Dark cherry berry fruit with wild flowers dried meats and underbrush black truffle very complex bouquet of aromas. Silky smooth tannins with dark cherry fruit a host of dried floral and herbal notes through the finish drinking very nicely right now. Finish 40+ excellent+ — 12 years ago

Loved this! Not a campfire wine, per se, but definitely great for a garden party with a fire pit. Which I imagine is much more in line with the Frasier aesthetic you're all trying to cultivate. — 9 years ago
