100 POINT Cult Wine.
Inky in color with a short purple rim.
Strong nose of blackberries, sweet plums, cooked cherries, cedar, vanilla, spices, espresso, cola, tobacco, chocolates and black pepper. Very dense.
Full bodied, big and bold, with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry and very fruity on the palate with blackberries, black currants, plums, cooked cherries, cedar, espresso, vanilla, spices, chocolates, tobacco, light herbs, light alcohol and peppercorn.
Long finish with round tannins and tangy cherries.
This is a delicious Bordeaux blend from Napa Valley. Showing great complexity with a great mouthfeel. Nicely balanced, Rich and extracted.

This 9 year old is still young, but already drinking beautifully. Will continue to age nicely in the next 25 years.
Good right out of the bottle, and much better after 3 hours of airtime.
Complex, and easy to drink. Just wonderful. A good sipping wine that doesn't need food, but will also pair very nicely with a big piece of steak.
A blend of 83% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot. A small production of only 3,000 bottles.
14.6% alcohol by volume.

20-year tawny a personal favorite. I’m always amazed how good this is whenever I have a glass. Taylor run today from Oporto by descendants of the Yeatman & Fladgate families, both of which have been partners in the firm since 1830s. Complex aromas rich with dried fruits & nutty spice. On the palate apricot and sweet berry flavors with honey and toasted nut notes, well balanced nice acidity. Lingering finish ending smooth with oaky nutty character. Very Nice. Price keeps going up each year. Tasting Sample. — 6 years ago
Established in 1997 by the partners of Far Niente. Medium lemon color with aromas of tropical and stone fruit with citrus and toasty oak notes. On the palate flavors of apple, pear and peach, lemon zest, vanilla oak and wet stone notes. Nice balance with tangy acidity on long finish ending with fruit, oak and rich minerality. Classic, very nice! — 6 months ago
Cherry with a hint of spice. Thick aromas (smokey?) With just a hint of floral? Dry and well balanced. — 5 years ago
This wine was our unanimous winner in our cult Cali blind tasting held back in 2012 against some big hitters, Dominus, Shrader, Shafer Hillside etc. Med bodied in an opulent style with good balance & length showing notes of blackberry, creme de cassis, forest floor, graphite, licorice & violet. — 6 years ago
Terrific!! Dark fruit, even tannins, smooth lingering taste — 6 months ago
A real winner for the price. Dry, light black pepper, doesn’t get syrupy with a night to breathe. — 3 years ago
My favorite for the price. — 5 years ago
EnRoute established in the RRV in 2007 by the partners of Far Niente. Les Pommiers introduced in May 2009 and reflects a blend of vineyards from Green Valley and upper Middle Reach area of RRV AVA. Complex fruit aromas, cedar and mineral notes. On the palate cherry and cranberry flavors with tobacco and toasty oak, rich structured tannins. Nice mouthfeel, zesty crisp acidity ending with fruit, mineral and oak character. Nice! Tasting Sample. — 6 years ago
