Great fruit, excellent tannin structure. Will let the second bottle age a bit before enjoying. — 7 years ago
We are at Taco Tuesday again today, and I've decided to try a Filippi Winery 2010 Petite Sirah. The color is deep purple in the glass. I picked up berries on the nose. This medium bodied wine also has blackberry on the palette. There is also some spice on the palette and the finish, which is not too long. Overall good structure. I could drink this again! — 10 years ago

Nice wine from an off the beaten path region. — 7 years ago
Hello fellow wine connoisseurs. Tonight I am trying a wonderful old vine Zinfandel from Cucamonga Valley where I had the privilege of visiting over the Christmas Holidays. If your looking for a wine you can drink that isn't as light as a pinot or as heavy as a cab, this zin is awesome!!!!
The cork was perfectly preserved. The color is dark purple but you can see your hand through the wine looking down on the glass. It is not as transparent as a Pinot Noir however. The legs are long and thick at about a 6 second drip. This is surprising. The initial bouquet is very light , reminds me of lavender and honey. EXCELLENT! The initial palate gives hints of grapes and dark berries with an amazing buttery texture. WOW. The finish is a bit sour like green apples and yet dissipates quickly leaving the flavor of buttered toast with blackberry jam. Don't get me wrong, it is very dry. It is in no way sweet. The after taste dissipates completely in five seconds leaving you thirsty for more. I can hardly wait to sip again. You should have at least a case of this wine on hand at all times. Oh yes, it is a 2012! — 10 years ago
Light, dry, with this nice light funk taste edge that was good. Would like to have this again. — 11 years ago
My favorite rose. 100% Grenache with a funky nose, but smooth and dry with light fruit flavors — 12 years ago

One of the beers our buddy Zack (@MyLifeIsAComicality) traded with us. This canning is a collaboration between Aslin Beer Company in Herndon, VA and Kings Brewing Company in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. Made as a sour ale with peach, mango, raspberry, pink guava, vanilla and milk sugar. 5.0% Alc/Vol.
Cloudy and opaque pink almost like a grapefruit with a light head. Stinky to start on the nose with a bit of guava and more tropical fruits. Medium to medium plus bodied with some tart characteristics coming through. Quite refreshing and crisp mouthfeel with some tropical, sour red berries and stone fruit notes. Medium plus finish.
$$ - $4.51 a can. — 7 years ago
Raisiny goodness. Heated raisin with baked plumberry on the palate. Long lighthearted lasting finish, with a gingerlike heat. Pleasantly light for a dessert wine. — 7 years ago
To bad we only had one bottle. We enjoyed it with some friends. Steaks and potatoes, green beans! — 10 years ago
Great smooth wine from JFilippi Winery. This blend of Tempranillo, Petite Sirah, Zinfandel, and Cab with Vanilla and spice on the nose goes down very well. I will definitely need to buy more of this one! — 10 years ago
A mild, and smooth Zinfandel, this 08 from South Coast Winery glides across your tongue and assuages the thirst for flavor from your taste buds. This zin'a flavor is lacking in complexity, but rather pleasing in the soft notes of its simplicity. — 12 years ago
