Very true nose, enlightened and elegant, tastes slightly on the modern side but retains authenticity and individuality. — 6 years ago
Easy drinking Merlot blend — 6 years ago
Solid Nebbiolo — 8 years ago
From even north of Lessona. Cherry, raspberry, blackberry and fresh plum. White pepper, red liquorice, Dried fennel, almond paste and orange rind. Fine, gentle emery board like tannins with perky acidity. Really approachable now. 65% neb, 20% croatina and 15% vespolina. — 9 years ago
Sweet like the sweetest grapes you could buy very light and tasty my new favorite!! — 10 years ago
Excellent table wine to go with a myriad of dishes. Not too powerful. — 11 years ago
One of my favorite sweet wines. Cheap, running $9.80 at any Military Class Six, it has a slightly lower alcohol content at about 7.8%. It is partly carbonated — 12 years ago
Probably the best croatina I’ve ever had! Okay, prob the only one I’ve ever had. Another Lou classic, earthy, funky, tart cherries, beautiful ruby color and barnyard nose. — 6 years ago
Loverly wine for the price goes down too well x — 6 years ago
Högg den på tillfälliga hyllan på hansa. Extremt prisvärd! Rosig, bärig, kakao, bastu. Riktig len men ändå dröjande i flabben. Tanniner. — 6 years ago
Great find...spicy, almost Barolo in style. Cold weather red. — 7 years ago

Fuhgeddaboudit!!!!! — 10 years ago
Punchy, strong, a little fruity and slightly sweet. — 11 years ago
This is a Valpolicella blend without Molinara but with some Croatina. Grapes come from volcanic soils of San Briccio Cru, near Mezzane. 2006 is a 4-stars vintage, but here we are at the top peak of quality, awesome wine. — 11 years ago
full bodied but not over powering. easy to drink. — 12 years ago
Deep garnet color. Pronounced, developing aromas of leather, dried blueberry, cedar, butterscotch, red cherry. Dry, pronounced flavors of the same. Medium+ acid, medium+ tannin. Medium to high alcohol, full body. Long finish. Outstanding quality, drink now or hold for a few more years. Seems like it has a quite a bit of life still. — 6 years ago
Complex and brooding. One of my favorite Amarone’s. — 6 years ago
Do you want a downturn of this very nice Amarone is that the 14.5 % of alcohol limits the quantity one may drink! So take your time. — 7 years ago
Alto Piemonte meets Loire. Crispy and herby and fruity. — 8 years ago
Very surprised that I enjoyed this sweet Italian red. Not too sweet like American sweet reds. Lovely — 9 years ago
Big dark fruit without being sweet. Strong cherries, blackberries and maybe plum. Deep expression. Tannins and grippy (leathery) but still light in alcohol. — 10 years ago
Sinfully sweet as the name suggests, blood red in color, light on the palate. Most excellent. — 11 years ago
Deep red, full of fruity flavor and a hint of bubbles. Love it!!!! — 13 years ago
