An elegant beauty that shows that with great terroir comes great Barolo! — 9 years ago
Surprisingly smooth structure starts off, blending the grape varietals well to a smooth elegant finish. With spicy southern Italian fare this wine holds up strong. 2011 vintage. — 10 years ago
Delicious, well rounded fruit flavors that stay fresh on your tongue. Minimal acid and tannins makes you want to drink more. — 10 years ago
Nice tannins and a mineral structure. Went well with sausage, polenta and marinara. This wine would age well for a few more years. 85% Sangiovese, 10% Merlot and 5% Cabernet. — 12 years ago
Smooth red with cherry flavor but not too sweet. Wonderful body and aftertaste — 7 years ago
Not much Nebbiolo character but excellent winemaking. Pure and supple, with excellent balance. No jammy fruit character, with drying tannins so not for new world palate, but also smooth and rich mouthfeel that is appealing. It has a quiet authority that comes from long history. — 7 years ago
Nice hot day today and the cool white wine was just the ticket . Medium acidity and beautiful notes of fresh fruit and flowers had it with pork and will buy this one again and again — 8 years ago

Potent, penetration, juice. Narrow upfront but spreading its wings into layers of dark cherry, plum and baked earthy notes with well integrated tannins spreading into your jaws. Just could use a bit more body. — 6 years ago
