At 40 barrels, this generic SLH Pinot Noir is actually a big SLH release for the Salinas based Tudor wines. Presented in a screw top bottle, the nose is cooked cherry. The palate gets silky smooth cherry, strawberry, and minerals. A chewy finish with moderate acid. Nothing flashy, but a very solid wine that performs well solo or matched with lighter foods. — 8 years ago

Cabernet Sovignon Roze - Crama Hermeziu. 2015. — 9 years ago
The kind of wine that makes one say 'That's all I'll ever drink from now on...' — 10 years ago
Had the best lunch outdoor at rr restaurant. Had whites during lunch and tried this afterwards. Brought one bottle home and now bummed. It is so good and not listed on their website so will need to figure out how to get more! — 10 years ago
Bought it based on Sydney International Wine Show 2014 awards and subsequent newspaper articles on cheap Aldi wines.
At $13, pretty good value. Bit light but enjoyed it. — 11 years ago
Light, fruity and less dry. Yet has a lot of spice from the sagebrush. Grandview Tudor Vyd sourced. — 12 years ago
Mulled fruit done in a Burgundian style. Smokey and full bodied. — 8 years ago
Wow. Aged extremely well. Incredible body for a Pinot. Simply awesome. Unfortunately, my last 2007. — 8 years ago
Very nice Pinot with a nice colour, too. — 9 years ago
Dried cherry and dark fruit nose. On the palate it is silky with subdued acid that shines in the finish. More tannic than most SLH pinots. — 9 years ago
One of the great Romanian wines. Great value for the price! — 10 years ago
Fresh, with a great and intense nose. — 10 years ago
Romanian wine?! Outstanding wine from Romania?!?! We were all guessing high end WA (someone guessed Lionetti). — 11 years ago
We had it with some pork in the oven. The dish had prunes, cheese and some apple. It worked wonderfully together. The wine had the time to breathe for +2hours in a decanter. It was so smooth, fruity and round I would not believe it it Feteasca Neagra. Temperature wise we had it ag ~16gc. — 12 years ago
Good tannins, lovely. — 8 years ago

A nice and smooth Romanian red. Velvety texture and slightly alkaline chalkiness. Mild summer berries. — 10 years ago
Beautiful sommer wine with a slight soft sweet note — 10 years ago
My memory from last year's version of this rosé was of a more acidic and crisp wine than this one. The 2013 is round, has some strong raspberry/strawberry notes (I did not read the bottle's back notes before writing :)) and ... sweet (I could swear I felt some sugar). It reminded me of the raspberry syrup with water that I user to drink when I was a kid. — 12 years ago
A fantastic wine for desert. I always associated busuioaca de Bohotin with a low end wine. This interpretation of it proves wrong. It was a wonderful wine with our cake. — 12 years ago
