Blend of various grapes from Salina island, Sicily: 30% Malvasia and Catarratto, Rucignola and some Inzolia. Properly salty, dry, fresh, long finish. Very good. — 11 years ago
We had it with some pork in the oven. The dish had prunes, cheese and some apple. It worked wonderfully together. The wine had the time to breathe for +2hours in a decanter. It was so smooth, fruity and round I would not believe it it Feteasca Neagra. Temperature wise we had it ag ~16gc. — 11 years ago
Romanian wine?! Outstanding wine from Romania?!?! We were all guessing high end WA (someone guessed Lionetti). — 11 years ago
2011 - Malvasia delle Lipari from a small vineyard over Salina. Smooth, with medium acidity and finish. — 11 years ago
A fantastic wine for desert. I always associated busuioaca de Bohotin with a low end wine. This interpretation of it proves wrong. It was a wonderful wine with our cake. — 11 years ago
Beautifully floral, deceptively sweet on the nose, dry and delicious in the mouth. — 12 years ago

2013 - Malvasia and Inzolia from Salina island. — 11 years ago
My memory from last year's version of this rosé was of a more acidic and crisp wine than this one. The 2013 is round, has some strong raspberry/strawberry notes (I did not read the bottle's back notes before writing :)) and ... sweet (I could swear I felt some sugar). It reminded me of the raspberry syrup with water that I user to drink when I was a kid. — 11 years ago
