Looks like tea... Sweet grapes and bitter oak... Very rich in taste and full bodied. Smooth texture and the longest drying finish ever. Amazing! — 11 years ago

94 pt rating on wine enthusiast and worth every point, and more! For $50, this extra old (XO) Cognac drinks like their bigger brother Camus XO! Oak spice, nutty aromas, vanilla, smokey fig, caramel, maple, and a persistent long, luscious finish! The complexity is ample, and we'll structured; well done Chabanneau! This is one of the perfect cognacs to experiment with if you haven't gotten to try much 'good' cognac. I say, drop the Hennessy & Courvoisier and try this! — 10 years ago

This was snuck into a blind rum tasting... surprising how many similarities it has to rums. Smell: Fruity, bright, some nutmeg. Taste: Earthy, baking spice, black pepper, super dry. I didn't realize I liked this as much. Courvoisier still sucks. — 10 years ago
