One of my favourite dessert wines from Alicante and Spain in general. Rich honeycomb, apricot and flowers. Delicious! — 9 years ago

Nice and light, long lasting fine red. One of the best of Languedoc for me — 10 years ago
Explosive intense moscatel de Alejandría essence with electrifying and radical fresh acidity. Made as a tokajy style. Unique, mysterious, indescriptible. The best sweet wine made in Spain. — 10 years ago

A 1.2ha parcel of old Mencía on south-facing schist, this was the vineyard that Pablo and his parents started their adega with back in 1996. Some whole cluster, foot trodden, long maceration and ferment in open foudre and then aged about a year in used French barrels. I really liked this yesterday when I opened it and showed it around, but it's singing like an opera diva on the second day! Black raspberry, violets, graphite and just oh so pretty. — 9 years ago
I was impressed with Murasaki (Purple - in Japanese). Kenzo Estate makes Ai and Rindo but I prefer Murasaki. Heidi Barrett is the winemaker for Kenzo Estate (known as First Lady of wine and Time magazine called her The Wine Diva of Napa Valley). If you have not visited Kenzo Estate, I recommend to include this Vineyard on your list of wine tasting in Napa Valley. The most beautiful estate of all the vineyards I visited. — 9 years ago
Enjoyed at Barn Diva — 10 years ago
Classic and elegant like a diva. Buttery sweet with a pleasant oak. Honeysuckle and a hint of of toasted coconut. Lightly chilled is good instead of ice cold. — 10 years ago

Bin 169, second ever bottling.
750ml
Tasting from 2 bottles, same event.
Penfold's first ever vintage of this was 2008.
She's a DIVA. No doubt about it. This is going to be the most intense wine of the night by a long shot. Incredibly dense, concentrated, ripe! Not pruney. Balanced. Incredible wine from Peter Gago!

I'm not the biggest rosé fan. Too bad coz I live in rosé climate. This however was a delight. My friends parents insisted we drink it as its from Bandol an area of Provence known for their rosé. It was dry without the boredom and more structured with a bigger body and tannic without the tart on one hand or sweet on the other. It's a cosmopolitan rosé- enjoyed in NYC, holding its own with political debate or high fashion outfits — 10 years ago
2011, sophisticated sweet. Orange and a hint of abricot. Almond and vanilla. — 10 years ago
One of my favorite Muscatels. — 10 years ago
Very bright, almost metallic. Sweet but not coying — 11 years ago
Diva wines, Rhone valley. Good right outta the bottle. Not too bold and not flat. Nice round flavor — 11 years ago
Vesper martini, cuz we're not that drunk. Nolet's gin (Ketel One) is so key here, please tolerate my diva when I say I just don't drink these without Nolet's. 3 oz. Nolet's gin, 1 oz. Jewel of Russia Ultra vodka (this extravagance can be subbed for decent vodka), 0.5 oz. Lillet Blanc. Shaken, not stirred...the original James Bond martini. — 12 years ago
