Coteaux Bourguignons from Domaine Henri Richard 2011 - absolutely crushing affordable Burgundy. I would happily drink a bottle of this any day of the week. — 11 years ago
Claire Naudin Ladoix 1. cru Les Corvée some decant made this unfold, spicy nose, tasty afterglow. This is wholecluster 😍 — 5 years ago
Bright, but quite ripe, red cherry with almond, nice herbaceous notes and light nutmeg. Reductive notes are there, but not overpowering... so a plus for me. YMMV. A little time to breathe helps.
Thanks to 2015, this is delicious now, but there’s enough grip to hold for a couple years.
So, nowadays we’re paying $48 in Dallas for Hautes-Côtes de Nuits... 2015 is a banner year for everyone apparently. — 7 years ago

Vintage 2015 tasting with the WNH and Anne herself - she is an amazing person and one brilliant winemaker - she did this tasting from her heart and if you ever want to a wine rockstar that is humble refined and caring about the craft she is definitely the ticket
From her and I quote “A faint toast, part of a modest width of aroma. Also fine texture, less overt volume, but more line and a lovely mid-palate flavour – redder fruited – fine small waves of fine finishing flavour – simply lovely!”
I will add such structure and balance and it is just a baby - give this wine 5-10 years and it will be off the charts — 5 years ago
Awesome. Sunday night pairing with Icelandic Salmon (ultra high omega 3) with soy ginger sauce, seven whole grain "seeds of change" 90 second rice, cucumber and tomatoes in red wine vinegar and evoo — 8 years ago
