Smooth but nicely acidic-dangerously drinkable — 8 years ago
Another great Portuguese red, full of flavour and great with a rustic chilli con carne, will be adding a couple of these to the wine rack. — 8 years ago
Digging this one too. Classic prune, deep flavor from the petit Verdot. Really nice not overly extracted. — 9 years ago
Nice high acidity, rubard favor — 9 years ago
Fantastic, fruit forward blend. Pairs well with almost anything, even fish and poultry if the seasoning has spice to it. — 10 years ago
This was exceptional! For this price it's a wine everyone can enjoy with pasta or antipasti. It's fruit forward and bright, love it! — 10 years ago

Santa Valha Red Wine from Portugal. 2011. Nice violet color. Very strong soil/mushroom on the nose. Medium acidity. Dry. Alcohol. Berries and sour apple. There's certain brightness in the taste. Sunny flavor? Mineral on the finish. Complex wine. Very unique encounter. That's why you cannot stop trying new wines. — 9 years ago
Corsé, complexe, rempli de saveurs, excellent vin Portugais ! — 10 years ago

Wow. Cannot beat this gamey, rustic, bright, fresh red...many things in one! And, it has 8 different varieties of local grapes. A blend of 25.5% Touriga Franca, 22.5% Tinta Roriz, 16.5% Tinta Amarela, 10.5% Tinta Barroca, 8.5% Tinto Cao, 8% Sousao, 6.5% Tinta Francisca and 2% Touriga Nacional from Baixo Corgo and Cima Corgo, Douro, Portugal. For $9 you cannot beat it. Thanks @k&L — 7 years ago
One of the best wines I've had. Hard to get in the U.S. — 8 years ago
Has a woody taste to it. Sweet aftertaste, like berries. — 8 years ago
#prowein2016 — 9 years ago
Beautiful tension between round ripe fruit and strong mineral acidity. Walking a tightrope. Intellectually stimulating and aesthetically pleasing. — 9 years ago

It needs to open up for quite a while but this nectar contains the pure magic of Syrah, from the highest vineyards of south Alentejo! I guess not even in Australia we can find such good quality price rate of Syrah! — 10 years ago
