Smooth and dry, really yummy — 9 years ago
French oak. Smells like my grandma's toaster and she stuck a mixed berry Jane in and it was burnt. High acid, medium heavy body, bold oak that still gives you that kinda low sugar berry pie that's been in the oven for a bit longer than needed with muted fruit and a meatier kinda body. Fun wine. But get it with some food. — 9 years ago

Dark fruit, tannins. — 9 years ago
This red wine is obtained by a natural drying process after harvest. Thanks to this unique process the grapes develop an extremely intense and complex flavor and gives the Albertoni great strength and structure — 9 years ago

A classic Amarone. Soft tannins, a hint of oak. A sweet bouquet. Very jammy. — 10 years ago
Cesanese del Piglio DOCG 2011, Riserva Superiore, 15.5%. Bottle tasted in January 2015.
Color: dark, clean, with an orange tinge.
Nose: vinous, ethereal, very balsamic, spicy, green, rich, deep and a little toasted wood.
Taste: really very good, intense snd rich, fine and elegant tannins, pure licorice. Long persistence. — 11 years ago
Beware the Amarone. Severely addictive. Starts off amazing and becomes something otherworldly after several hours. Open early and drink slowly. Give it time. See what happens. — 9 years ago
