I was very lucky to have one of my oldest friends in the world come visit me from DC this weekend (I love you, Kelli!). True friendship is the best and to me means you always feel understood... no judgement....yes even when it comes to dancing! In our case it also meant constant cutting up and a lot of really good wine! I really enjoy this Andy Erickson juice. It was a nice convergence of fruit and smoke. Awesome as is, but could benefit from a couple hours in a decanter. A really pretty SB and a perfect harmonic convergence of grapes and cheese both grown on site. Grassy and crisp, with a nice pineapple twang on the mid palate that gives the wine depth and added complexity. I love the texture here - it's got weight and presence and just a bit of waxiness to help off set the steely tartness. Delicious. — 9 years ago
