Full nose, cherry, cumin? smells so good. Jenna tastes Indian spices. Maybe on the back edges of your tongue. feels thinner than a cab, but nice medium then clean finish — 9 years ago
Smooth yumminess in a glass. — 10 years ago
Honestly a great wine hiding behind a kitschy label. There is a ton going on in the nose. Fantastic long finish with enough in all the right places. This one had something special I can’t quite put my finger on. — 5 years ago
The Valdiguie was kind of meh, got better with air but the Carignan... this is a wild f’in wine. I honestly don’t know what’s happening in my mouth but it’s some combination of red fruit and salted meat. Kind of stopped me in my tracks as I said “wtf is this” — 6 years ago
2012 drinking very well. Blackberry chocolate, a little stone fruit around the edges; satisfying. Fine tannins at the right level of grip. — 8 years ago
Nice full body, dry but not overly so. One of the best cabernet sauvignon wines I've had. Paired excellent with gourmet burgers. — 8 years ago
This 1997 Cline ZIN was unbelievable!! The age has perfected it! — 9 years ago

Interesting Carignane from vines planted in the 1890s. Rustic wine brimming with wild strawberry and pomegranate fruit. Violet notes with spice and lively acidity on the finish. — 5 years ago
The nose on this is scrumptious, and it tastes as good as it smells. It was our favorite tasting at the Cline family cellars. — 6 years ago
(2015) Pleasantly peppery, not overly sweet for a dessert wine, dark, almost port-like. Paired well with sea salted dark chocolate and a rooftop picnic view of San Francisco. — 7 years ago
I've had too many wimpy Zins lately. This one is not. More like a Beefcake. I'll take it. — 8 years ago
Bad Break=good break for my taste. Awesomely big with raspberry/black cherry and hint of mint. $37 at the winery. — 9 years ago
Fresh and well balanced. The best of the lineup IMHO. — 9 years ago
