Nice, crisp, fruity — 12 years ago
From a re-discovered ancient local grapes (tazzelenghe is the Friuli tipical slang meaning "tongue-cutter" due to its terrific tannins), this wine found its balance after aging 2 years in oak and several years in bottle. Red/black small fruits and sweet spices at the nose, powerful and fresh on the palate, with licorice and vanilla final flavours. — 12 years ago

Generally not a huge fan a Pinot Grigio, but this was quite good. Crisp and clean, not too dry. — 12 years ago
