Really smooth easy red — 3 years ago
Sweeter and Carbinated. It is actually much better than we expected. We would totally get again, just not try pairing it with Prime Rib. Lol. — 4 years ago
Loved this wine. Got it for $9.99 at Total Wine and I’ll buy it again or even a case of it. Paired very well with spicy bbq pizza and dark chocolate. A soft wine, with notes of earth. No after taste — 6 years ago

Decanted for 90min prior to service. The 2013 pours, a deep ruby color with a near opaque core; medium viscosity, with light staining of the tears. Small signs of sediment. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of tart, mostly dark with some red forest fruit: blackberries, black currants, rotting strawberries, a fresh package of red rope licorice, purple flowers, old pennies, and dry, rocky minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannin(+?) and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. I think this is my first time enjoying a wine made with Tazzelenghe and, if I can help it, will not be my last. Drink now. — 9 months ago
