Bonsai! Darker and a little more intense than the Brunello, this is a Rosso do Montalcino but only in name as the wine is treated the same way as the Brunello as far as barrel and bottle aging. The issue here is that the vineyard is not yet certified by the Brunello Consorzio. — 12 years ago
