🙌🏻. This wine has restored my belief that Oregon can produce complex amazing Pinots. I had been through about 12 jammy, too fruity, one note wines. This mother complexity had cherry, spice, earth tones, a little barnyard, and subtle baking slices. Here's to you new world. — 9 years ago
Oh Wow ! ... Get ready to be transported to a Southopean wedding or "ROMERIA" ....Or a first communion... Or baptism of a child for which tío Damián had provided the wine. Either the one that he makes himself or some local old friend's stock. This wine is great in it's honesty. Great typical Tempranillo blend with all the characteristics of this fantastic grape with just a touch of vanilla and smoke from the oak. Straight to the point. Given its "homemade character" you can expect that after finish the first bottle, it will honor his name ( singing donkeys ) and someone will be singing his/her heart out with some old tune. # Generous alcohol that you don't even see c'ming bec of the freshness and well balanced young wine. Careful ! :) ... Great wine to share with tons of friends and family that you could pair with ANYTHING. — 9 years ago
Blackberry jam. Communion wine (Catholic, not Anglican). Cohiba skins. Terroir the day after it rains hard. Deep. Filthy. Reminds me of the first day I decided to punch a guy in the face for deriding my sister. Great wine for conspiring late into the evening. Or revolutions... Would be very good for revolutions. — 9 years ago

Yes! I've opened by Holy Grail (Sveti Gral) right after my first conscious Confession and Holy Communion! :)
Elegant, refined, emotive and feminine 100% Prokupac, aged 1 yr in barrels.
Dark garnet to dark red of some transparency, carmine rim.
Obducing nose of creamy cranberry, rosemary, raspberry, vanilla, dill, oregano.
Finely structured, well-rounded medium-bodied palate, flavored by lingonberry, cherry, pomegranate & ashberry hint.
Cranberry-driven silky lingering finish.

Viscous body. Reminds me of communion wine because of its juiciness. Very easy drinking with notes of berries and a hint of smoke. — 10 years ago

Great value bargain wine. Enjoyed at Ava's communion on may 2017 — 9 years ago
A baroness value selection... Top marks for value and not a bad bit of juice... Nice and light with narrowed flavours... This is a great bottle for a communion.. The family and friends will be impressed, you can drinks lots of it and still count the communion money...in saying all of this its a very good summer wine — 9 years ago
Luscious dark fruit showing flavors of grilled meat and smoke, yet medium bodied and with ample acidity to make the next sip instinctual. Divine comes to mind as the best descriptor. Drinking this puts me in communion with the earth. Sadly, KLWM doesn't import this one :( — 9 years ago
13.5%. Smooth as butter. Even has the slight sourness of grape. Light-medium body with a pleasant nose and just enough character. You could pretty much serve this at communion. For $10 at Costco, a complete steal. — 9 years ago

The simple and incredibly unique elderflower scent makes this one a must-have-competely-on-its-own sipper at room temperature. Ice chest, ice cubes and mixers are expressly not invited to this heavenly flagrant communion. — 10 years ago

Wellll this is my second favorite of the Champagnes I just got schooled in as part of the effervescence LA event I’m lucky enough to be attending for @Delectable Wine ! It is also Geoff Kruth’s first pick. What can I say... it is classic. Elegant. Toast and almost caramel on the nose. It reminds me of a toasty communion bread dipped in perfect church grape juice and I know that sounds basic but this is like...magical communion. I’d commune with it all day. — 7 years ago
