A good reasonably priced bordeaux. Decanted for 30 min and by the second glass it opened up nicely. Raspberry, currant, and a touch of oak. — 9 years ago
Paradis Imperial cognac. At Moet Hennessy boutique apartment in Paris. Medium golden hue. On the nose, pencil shavings and old wood, white pepper, savoury. Some vanilla essence and raisin. Nutty. Very complex. On the palate, calm and integrated alcohol, huge elegance and refinement, not too fruity, big concentration and extremely long finish. Superb. — 9 years ago
REALLY feeling the French/Mexican theme at Madrina in Dallas, mostly cause of the equally insane agave & brandy selections. — 9 years ago

GW tasting 12/13/16. $630. Nose that is well balanced with striking nuttiness and spices. Palate is balanced and savory and finish is long and complex. Be good with cigars. Last of classic collection. — 8 years ago
You think that you know a wine, like PdC. Then you try something like this and it changes your whole perception of the genre. Serious juice. — 9 years ago
So great. Grateful to have had the opportunity to taste all her reds from the same vintage. So incredibly expressive of their terroir. No exception here. — 9 years ago
Had the pleasure of tasting #camusborderiesxo the other day and was delighted. Distilled on the lees, this elegant yet powerful cognac is from the #borderies Cru. Orange zest, cinnamon, and dried fruit layers presented themselves with a creamy and velvety texture #camusborderies #cognac — 9 years ago
Very mellow but with plenty of body left for a '95. Fine bouquet. — 9 years ago
Transcendent. Massive flavors of dried dates, toffee, caramel. Just the right amount of sweetness. Insane length on the finish. World class. — 9 years ago
