Total score while at Beringer. Half bottles of 2006 PR for $33! Yep. Besides the price, the wine has to be one of the more noble bottlings of the decade for my palate. Super pure in the expression of Cabernet Sauvignon; Blackberry, tobacco, touch of coffee; ALL of the cliches descriptors without being boring. I still drink coffee everyday and I would welcome this wine into my home as frequently. Full bodied but BALANCED all the way through. The front palate is a solid intro, the acid was the surprise component that links the finish to the front beautifully. Nice job — 12 years ago
