A true classic, first ever IPA brewed in San Diego, my all time favorite place for IPA's holds up pretty well after 20 plus years, nice citrus and tropical notes, less of course than current IPA's, but overall solid IPA, and as I said it is a classic, if you in SD, and are a beer Geek, it is a must to try, esp on tap, have a growler filled up right now, excellent brew — 11 years ago
Love this beer, Stone's Famous lank mark strong ale "Basartd" 17 Adversary, combines all three "Basartd's to make the best of all, big fresh hops, because it is only released fresh once a year, big west coast style, leans more to a double IPA, but rich Carmel malt backbone, just awesome brew, nails the best of all three — 12 years ago
Great great brew from the big up and coming brewery in San Diego, so many great breweries in SD, this is like all they do, Fantastic stuff, almost perfect double/ imperial IPA, get this brew right now!!! — 12 years ago
Outstanding!!!! How do they do it? The best session IPA I ever had, yeah I am a little, very little bias, because I am Stone Head, but this truly amazing, new process put it the hops at the end of the brew, and it seems like more than it is, 4.5 % Alc??? Yeah, but big bold hops, big grapefruit and peach, mango, pineapple, Wow!!! — 12 years ago
Excellent Brew, from what should come to be the best brewery to come out of San Diego since Stone, Ballast point is of course another one, but these guys keep getting better and better and turning out more and more amazing brews — 13 years ago
Yes, this Stone @ it's mild side, first brew in late July 1996, I remember it well, was blown away by it then, a lot has changed, but this is still a great brew, one that goes good with any type of food, or just to enjoy something a little less bolder, great go to brew for anyone — 13 years ago
This is a nice brew. Full with a hint of sweetness at the beginning. A good ale for nights at the pub. — 11 years ago

Limited run peach brew out of Parker, CO - very tasty - it's a summer varietal we found late in the season but so good! — 11 years ago
My favorite double IPA, from my favorite brewery, yes I am if you did not know, a big "Stone Head" I go visit this brewery very often to fill up my Stone Growlers, and pick beer that you can only get at the brewery, and of course "Enjoy By" which you can only get all the time in CA, or the brewery, this is the beer they released in 2010 to celebrate the anniversary of Ruination, it is much more hopped up version of that, big big hops, almost 11% ABV, big tropical and citrus notes, Awesome brew, only for true hop heads, this one will ruin your pallet for sure, glad they decided to release this now every year, once a year, so stock up like I did, you can get it now, the one few beers I give a perfect score, 10 out of 10, Excellent!!! — 12 years ago
Awesome brew, you know you gonna love it, nice burn at the end, prefer the vanilla, but this great stuff — 12 years ago
True to the name. A very nice west coast hoppy brew. Green Flash is great! — 12 years ago
I'm having their River Ale, while digging Walter "Wolfman" Washington on his Wednesday gig at dba. This is a super pale brew, kissed by sharp hops. Refreshing and a killer food beer! — 11 years ago
