A new find we grabbed at Clos Mogador in Priorat created by Sara Perez and Rene Barbier Jr. with another six friends, making it the "vineyard of the 8" & we visited this small plot 😍 Will benefit from 5-10 years ageing 😉 Very nicely made & balanced just young 👍

Whoa. Charcoal, brambly dark berries, flint, tobacco, a hint of mint, rich and high toned - huge bass notes that turn into a beautiful crescendo. That's a wake up call. — 10 years ago
This is the 2004. Black fruit, spice, dry earth, black tea, talc, sweet prunes, toffee, caramel, something just starting to be smoky, and an aged-Riesling petrol effect come through on the nose. Palate is beautifully balanced with a slight brightness and a strong pencil lead texture. Finish is long and fantastic. Wow. Nice wine at a nice time. — 10 years ago
