Lots of red fruit and wet, nice but I prefer dry — 5 years ago
Tastes like berries but then develops into a firm tartness. Great smell, thin mouth feel, black cherry, beautiful purple ruby color — 6 years ago

From a lieu dit surrounded by Gevrey. Definitely young but with a couple hour decant quite enjoyable and accessible. Tons of sweet cherry on the nose; aromatically really quite intense. Full on the palate, get more tannin than I was expecting, but very nicely balanced by a lot of acid. Enjoyed it with a roast chicken provencal but could have stood up to red meat too. Nice qpr at ~$30. Note this is not the “cuvee unique”, which apparently a 100% new oak bottling - this is the regular which is 85% old. — 4 years ago

Beautiful NV champagne. Smoke, flint and pear on the nose. Flavors of black currant, pear, apple, ginger, honey, almond, lemon zest and brioche. Smoke and chalk on the finish. Nice balance, racy acidity and delicate mousse. — 5 years ago

The palate is full of lively verve. Lemon lime high acidity. What seemed at first to be notes of hazelnut actually blew off. In fact I mistook these notes. The wine seems to be rather reduced. Color is light gold/dark lemon. Went well with roast pork. — 9 years ago

2023/10 with pan-roasted wagyu, etc. in a great place - open on the nose, with woodsy, incense-like tertiary aromas blending with red berries and flowers. On the palate, good acidity and subtle tannin provide structure, with the fruit freshening and fleshing out with air. — 7 months ago
