Lovely Pommard, balanced & elegant, dusty red berry fruit, fine tannins, great to see a Pommard approachable when young. — 8 years ago
Great berry flavor. Fresh, lovely. Good with figs. From Donna's Brix Six — 9 years ago
Yum! Bright Granny Smith apple. Clean, pure fruit. Crushed stone. No funkiness. Having with New England chowder. Cuts the cream, yet has enough depth to be more than an accent. — 10 years ago

Truly stunning- a complete wine with power and finesse. Bursting with sweet red fruit. Intense minerality. Ample weight without feeling heavy, and a finish that seems to last all day. The delicacy and sweetness of Volnay with the power and structure of Gevrey. Leather, licorice, tobacco, smoke. In a blind tasting this would be hard for me to differentiate from a 1er cru Burgundy. Easily the best Sancerre rouge I’ve had the opportunity to taste. Will age for 15 years or more. Gorgeous wine. — 7 years ago
Green apple, citrus, brioche, clean finish with a mineral linger — 8 years ago
Developed red with ochre pigment. Cherrystone, rosehippy and briary, some sous bois and earthy aromas. Linear, precise, not too much showy or expressive, reserved, with a good inner balance. A bit too narrow and shallow to be at a good burgundy level but good enough. — 9 years ago
Delicious nose of candied pineapple, apricot and tropical fruit. Rich, creamy and racy on the palate with loads of tropical fruit, citrus and a bright acidic backbone with a nice touch of stone. — 10 years ago

Concentrated, long and lasting. Dark ripe black plums and cherries, chocolate, smoke, pepper. Tannins are velvety. No restraint whatsoever. — 7 years ago
Refreshing. A bit of weight. Good acidity. — 8 years ago
Favorite red of the year, best Pinot Noir ever. After first glass tried to order a case..saddened to learn of its scarcity and high price. But still want to be alerted when it becomes available! Delicious! Extraordinary. Thanks Dad! — 8 years ago
Citrus aroma comes at first but ripe, concentrated, great wine. Mid acidity is well balanced with the richness. In a sense it's not typical Sancerre Sauvignon blanc. Dry. — 9 years ago
11 Pernand Dubreuil "Berthet": cool, crisp aroma of berry , menthol and touch of animaux. Palate screams Cote de Beaune w lithe sinewy light weight body supported w firm tannins. Well structured, flavour intensity sufficient. — 11 years ago
