You can go wrong with Bordeaux this was great. — 10 years ago
Pleasing but tight red fruit on the nose, cherry and cranberry most notably, told me that this should be a wine that I should be drinking some time in the next 5 years. But my sister's birthday was reason enough to crack this open and pair with coq au vin. — 10 years ago
Yum. Whole lineup rocks! — 11 years ago
Tasted this at vineyard, Le Domaine de Arques of the family Baronne Philippine de Rothschilde last March 2015. Varietal mix, 50%Merlot, 10% .Cabernet Franc, 10% .
Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% .Grenache, 10% Syrah, 10% Malbec . Tasting notes-a lovely, deep, ruby red, pleasant nose w/ aromatic complexity, scents of Rose and peony mixed with blackberry and raspberry. Well balanced with roasted coffee and cocoa and spice notes.
Look for future availability.

Irancy Palotte - abbaye saint Antoine - 2014 WoW what a cherry nose ! Intense ripe fruit. The palate is very powerful which is weird considering the appelation. Lots of fruits, a very wide expression, round tannins, a long expending finish with red fruits. Somewhat a blood orange thing in the end too. Very nice — 8 years ago
Tonight we have opened the 2009 Chateau La Tour du Pin. This is a blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc. This property was owned by Antoine Mouiex from 1947 to 2006 when the owners of Cheval Blanc purchased it from the Mouiex family. The name was officially changed in 2008 from La Tour du Pin Figeac to Chateau La Tour du Pin. The same Technical Team responsible for producing wine of Cheval Blanc is now in charge of wines at La Tour du Pin. I am inclined just from this fact alone to be keeping my eyes on this Chateau. If you are a fan of Cheval Blanc this is where you can get your bang for the buck.
On the nose there is vibrant aromas of wonderful black fruit, black cherry, blackberry, black plum, black currant and licorice.
On the palate is good black fruit, black cherry, blackberry, black plum, green bell pepper, herbal notes and nice minerality.
The wine is medium to full bodied with medium acidity and smooth medium sandy tannins that is well balanced and has a pleasingly long finish. I am truly enjoying this wine that is brightening up my weekend. Please be safe and have a continued great weekend. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷 — 9 years ago

Saint-Florent vin de blanc! — 8 years ago
Searing acidity. Green apples,
Meyer Lemon and hints of white flowers. Palate-cleansing, refreshing Chardonnay with true complexity. Oak is virtually undetectable. Lovely wine. — 8 years ago
Rustic tannin, high acidity, reminds me of Italian Sangiovese blend — 9 years ago
Rolle aka vermentino. Very assertive upfront expression - big nose for a white (corn?), slight sweetness. Lychee, white peach. Stole the show in a vermentino night vs Antoine Arena & Yves Leccia. — 10 years ago
Starts off round and fruity and a little saline, then in comes lots of lovely acid, sour apple drops, zingy long juicy finish. — 10 years ago
