A little more toast and caramel than I am used to. Pear, honey, apples, dash of nuts...
Yeasty, oaky nose.
Pale golden hue.
April 29, 2016. U of M graduation weekend. Spring weather. Looks like Clinton vs Trump in the Presidential race. — 9 years ago
So very drinkable. Great wine to just drink, easy down, smooth, no lingering finish. 2011 — 10 years ago
Crisp, bright, nice floral nose. #tastecamp #drinklocal — 11 years ago
Fruit with some herbs and spice. Don't be like Bill Clinton when it comes to this wine: Inhale! Toke on this like its a liquid Doobie and enjoy the spicy notes and balsamic base. If the LDS drank wine, they would testify that the marriage between this red wine and red meat or lamb should be solemnized as eternal. — 12 years ago

We decided to go for a 'uuuuuge wine for debate no.3. Decanted one hour--thin and hot on initial tasting, fascinating to see how the elements come together clicking and whirring. Deep purple with some gradation at the rim. Herbal/slate/cherry nose. Flavor profile holds true with the nose, herbal approach, plum, stones, amazingly astringent tannic finish, all imbued with heat. Perfect with lamb. This should drink well through the first Hillary Clinton administration and beyond. — 9 years ago
Turned out, dressed up, white teeth, shined shoes, perfect hair, well-spoken: the Bill Clinton of wines. You may not like him, but you HAVE to respect him. — 9 years ago
It's what Bill Clinton had carried in the White House (fun fact) — 10 years ago

2004. Funky like george clinton or more specifically dr. John — 13 years ago
... we like all the Goldschmidt sisters, and the Clinton sisters as well. Had been saving for the inaugural, but are now serving Chelsea and Hillary to our mutually devastated friends who deserve a finely crafted wine. Not over the top, this Merlot is smooth on the palate and refreshing. Chelsea is neither austere nor pretentious, and with it's amazing pedigree, it is certainly ready to lead off tonights dinner with dear friends. Later tonight, we will be enjoying Goldschmidt's "Hillary" as the keynote. Hopefully the delegates tonight will avoid 3rd party shenanigans, and stay thru dessert when we will serve a delicious chocolate cake.

George Clinton wine. We got the funk! But there is intensity to the fruit and a seamless tannic feel. Opens up like gangbusters in the glass. More potpourri and herbs. More silk. — 10 years ago
George Clinton Funk, whoa. Gotta be a true believer to embrace off this nose. I believe. — 10 years ago
