On the nose, this Howell Mountain beauty has chocolate, spice and mint accents on a core of red and black fruit. The flavors are the same/similar, and the tannins are well-integrated and balanced perfectly with acid, fruit and alc (13.5% abv). Full-bodied with a great, silky texture. The finish is long and dry, with notes of chalk and raspberries. An awesome bottle, drinking well now but this wine will also age well. — 10 years ago

Upon pulling cork, needs to open up...I can tell there's going to be something special there though. After 20 mins fruit is waking up, acid coming out. Nice — 11 years ago

A great wine. Elegant, refinesd, affordable. Stinky nose od leather vege/shroom. Unique architecture of taste peaking up front and midpalate along bilateral tongue. Currant and blackberry throughout with eounded tannins. Finish still happening while inwrite this. If you can get this wine it is a great find. 12€ — 13 years ago

Classic Chenin Blanc aromas of ginger, marmalade & tons of flinty minerality. On the palate there's a slight effervescent with a mineral core. — 8 years ago
