There is a first for everything! Drinking a wine from Lebanon!! One of the oldest wine regions in the world. Over 2000 years old. Even referenced in the Bible (Hosea 14:7)!!! This was een excellent wine. Fresh, clean, vibrant but very dry. Strong tannins that lingered for 2 minutes. Tart pie cherry with a slight hint of orange peel??!, dark chocolate and leather. Very unique. It wasn’t a Bordeaux style nor a Rhône style. Great experience. Drinking the juice near the Land of honey and milk. — 8 years ago

A consistent and solid choice for affordable Chablis. It is lacking in complexity, but demonstrates some of the trademark Chablis qualities of minerality, citrus fruit, and a nice clean finish- a good pairing with cheeses and appetizers of almost any type. — 10 years ago
Going back in the memories to 1 year ago in Paso Robles. — 10 years ago

Medium bodied Italian white with a rich texture and not a trace of malolactic fermentation. Fresh and clean with golden apple, Manuka honey, and honeysuckle, all especially prominent on the finish. — 10 years ago
Ripe red fruit. Healthy showing of spice and tobacco. Silky mouthfeel, lifted weight. Clean acid. Drinking well, however still primary with glimpses of depth and age. Excited to watch this go for the long haul. — 11 years ago

I gave up on Pegau after too many disappointing bottles. This one was super clean - glorious aromatics. Palate was herbaceous with dark fruit, tannic and rustic. Delicious! — 8 years ago

For a white it's one of the best I've had. Clean. Light acidity. Goes well with fish and jazz — 10 years ago
Many other Beaujolais I've had smell like bubble-yum or bananas and have some weird, flatness, like club soda. Not burnt, but just, I don't know, like you're tasting the carbon. This is clean and direct. It's tart and sour-cherry, but mysteriously has almost no aftertaste. There's no oak flavor to speak of, (it's vinified in large-format neutral oak) but (once you let it develop) it still seems to have depth and richness like a wine that sees new oak. It needs about an hour of air for the acidity to calm down. — 11 years ago
Clean, crisp, with honey, toffee, and a strong dose of California — 11 years ago
Jaan, Beijing: Hints of Passionfruit and musk melon, with a clean finish. Best I've had, so far. — 12 years ago

Lemon, jasmine flower, a little brioche. Light body, tiny bubbles, clean citric finish (maybe a little detectable RS). Fabulous foundation for my champagne flight :) — 7 years ago
