My first claypool (and happy it's a bottle Katy and Ross helped with!) Pobega'd this immediately and was still immediately hit with cherry fruit, but the palate is so refined despite having a heavier mouthfeel than you'd expect from the ruby color. Delicious. Cooked dark cherries, clay, vanilla, rhubarb and spice. Wonderful backbone of acidity and soft, velvety tannins. So good! Hopefully I can find more in Colorado — 11 years ago
