I love Claudio Ancarani's wines across the board, but this one tops them all. I think it could be blinded as Recioto di Valpolicella from a top producer. Incredible dessert wine for an even more incredible price. Stewed cherries, tobacco, raisins. — 10 years ago

Had at Al Pont de Ferr in Milan with tasting menu. Was paired with a red onion, goat cheese in a sugar/glass bubble appetizer. Nice way to start the meal. Lite and refreshing. — 11 years ago

Claudio now taken from father Giacomo. His fav is the Bussia this one 40di skin contact and reserva 90di. Really soften out and now waiting for the fruit and soil complexity to show off in another 8 years or so — 8 years ago
