You may think it's a red but actually a rosé. Delicious. — 9 years ago
Wifey spat her pacifier out for some reason, but I have assumed editorial liberties. In the glass, the wine is as black as me, but not as sexy 😏
The nose is dense and heavy with maple syrup and maraschino cherries. On the palette, it's velvety and compact, with layers of coffee, kirsch and finishes sweet. This is why I love Napa! — 10 years ago
Old school claret, elegant and long, very nice! — 10 years ago
Deep notes with plum. Great with red meat. — 11 years ago
So, the night before Thanksgiving, opening a classic claret with my closest Brit. Cassis, elegance, depth and character to go so deep it's crazy. What a way to start the holiday. — 9 years ago

Steak & claret Friday is back. This bottle was more evidence for my theory that wine always shows best once it sells out. Dark fruit, savory tertiary character and plenty of sweet life in this "for steak only" northern Medoc. Hats off to the butchers at Draeger's... I don't know what that "cowboy" steak was, but it sure was good! — 9 years ago

Some of the best cabs ever!! — 11 years ago
2002 vintage- best of the lot in a 2004, 2005, 2006 vertical tasting, plum and dark fruit on the nose, plums prune in the mouth... fruit was waining but still balanced enough- tannins were still properly intact- was a pleasure, thanks to my Dad for making the tasting possible — 9 years ago

Very aromatic and smooth. Slight brown on edge but the flavors and nose of aged claret were profound. Have a few more bottles and will drink them this year.🍷🍷 — 9 years ago
