Classic Finger lakes Riesling. Crisp and slightly sweet. Very drinkable. Great price. — 8 years ago
Whenever I'm back in London I try to pay a visit to Franco Manca for a dose of heaven manifest as pizza. For all the discernment of ingredients going into each mana-circle, it baffles me that the wines served as so appalling. Therefore I brought my own, discombobulating two waitresses in the process. Try the house wine to lift any confusion as to why I would BMOB. Querciabella's Chianti Classico is a consistent stunner for the price. Good depth and texture, it is a red fruit driven delight that held its own next to Franco's divine pizza. — 8 years ago
@ Cherry Circle Room with Kat and Kel... Light, flavorful, really enjoyable — 9 years ago

10/1/15- cherry circle room Chicago. Duck and a dead ringer for burgundy. Volnay in Oregon. Will remember this wine. Perfect subtlety and pinot fruit. — 10 years ago
Golden Circle from Tom Shobbrook 2013 - Amazing smells here, spiced pineapple chunks, golden syrup, apple blossom, wild mint leaf, bar leaf (bloody lovely!) in the mouth this has some prickly pear acidity, apple, good definition, but of apple skin tannin, good finish. — 11 years ago
Awesome. Delicious. Graysonline only. — 12 years ago
2009 vintage. Mainly Cabernet Sauvignon with a little bit of Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Serious juice from serious vineyards in Napa Valley (the lower slopes of Coombsville, Sugarloaf Mountain and Circle S, the latter one of the highest parts in the Napa Valley). Cassis, cedarwood, licorice and lead pencil, reminiscent of Pauillac. Concentrated, ripe black fruit, but not jammy. Powerful tannic structure and good acidity. Long finish with licorice and a distinctive minerality. Maltus obviously doesn't go for the easy commercial jammy style. Incredible Napa Valley value at 30 euro! Perfectly integrated 14,8% abv. — 7 years ago

Think of a few concentric circles... In the middle are fruit flavors, immediately outside from the inner circle is more dominant tar and leather flavors, and then layers and layers of very strong tannins in the outer circles... The tannin has length, lasting for a long time in your mouth, leaving you amazed for 10 minutes, then the craving for more begins... I wonder about the winemaker's thoughts and perspectives on this wine after making this wine! — 9 years ago
Initial notes of dusty oak and some meaty nuances. 2008 was yet another good year in Margaret River but the palate here is lacking fruit intensity (picked too early?) Up in the Wilyabrup Dress Circle and apparently has been served on Qantas First Class. Expected more richness and palate weight. — 10 years ago
Yum! Drank this on the recommendation of our Safari Camp Manager, Brett and it was incredible. Big, bold, fruity wine that held up really well to the local peppered venison (aka - Kudu) — 10 years ago
Blackberry on the nose. Cracked black pepper on the pallet. — 11 years ago

A delight to drink. Balanced. Tannins well integrated. Fresh. Glad we waited. — 12 years ago
Almost white in color with lots of pear and apple on the nose. Also subtle hints of cranberries. Not as sweet as I was expecting, which was nice, but not overly complex either. Honeysuckle, melon, and green apple dominate the body. Medium to long finish. Excellent QPR! — 8 years ago
Good nose, medium-body, strawberry, nice finish.

Recommended at Carthay Circle in Disney California Adventure. Great with my salmon. Wine from Portugal. — 10 years ago
2008 Vintage. Dark ruby red in the glass. The nose offers up lilac, high toned cherry, strawberry preserves, chamomile tea and clay. Black raspberry, & shortbread burst onto the palate, but this wine is all about texture. Very rich, polished, texture that has bright acidity to bring this wine full circle. Very fun and complex wine. — 11 years ago

Ports generally tend to be too sweet for me, but this Syrah port is perfect. One of my favorite dessert sipping drinks. — 11 years ago

Continuing with the Langtons Classification tasting of the Best Australian Wines in the Outstanding Category. This Woodlands Cuvée always named after a Family member is their best expression of Cabernet. I have been buying 6 bottles every year since 2007. In the Wilyabrup dress circle over the road from Moss Wood and close to Cullen and Vasse Felix. Always one of the best in Margaret River. Just noticed @Delect Able that the 2010 is Heather Jean not ShelleyAnne. — 7 years ago
