Another amazing red from Kiepersol. Nice fruit forward, medium tannins. The flavor lingers for an awesome amount of time. — 7 years ago
Had another bottle, aged well. A neighbor of Haut-Brion and La Mission Haut-Brion, Les Carmes is positioned on the same bank. The name derives from the friars, known as ";Les Carmes"; who owned the property between the 16th & 18th century. This estate has been under new ownership since 2010. Predominantly Merlot and Cabernet Franc, aged for 18 months in French oak, (33% new). Red fruit and currants on the nose. Raspberry and plum flavors fine tannins and lingering finish ending with mineral tones. Nice! — 7 years ago

Great all around red. Very dependable. — 9 years ago

Smells like an oak bomb with some honey in the back end to the nose. More acid and light citrus finish, oak body more texture you're getting from the beginning of oak but not super oaky. Little bit of toast too. Great wine — 10 years ago
Gotta mix it up every now and then. Variety is the spice of life. — 10 years ago
Magic acidity. 73er 👊 — 11 years ago
Great argentine wine! — 12 years ago
Opaque ruby violet with prominent tears. Aromas of cherry liqueur, plum, violets, and tobacco leaf. Still quite structured on the palate although the tannins have softened. Made from 39% Cabernet Franc, 33% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Petit Verdot, and 11% Merlot. 14.4% ABV. — 6 years ago
Anderson’s Conn Valley Vineyards 2013 Right Bank cab franc 67% and merlot 33%. FANTABULOUS!!!! At 60 dollars it is as high end as it gets for my taste at a budget cost. It is better than any cab franc blend Ive ever had at any price. it has a unique oak and spice to it. No chocolate nor vanilla. Loads of Black licorice and cigar. A wonderful change. Still lots of dark berries on the beginning and very dry on the finish. This will never disappoint. Must decant however for at least 30 min in large decanter. — 7 years ago
Welcome to Friday and I have picked up a Right Bank Bordeaux Blend from the state Washington the 2013 DeLille Cellar D2. 57% Merlot, 33% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot.
Upon opening, there is beautifully expressive dark fruit wafting over the rim of the glass with a lasting impression of blackberries, black currant, black cherry, plum, sweet ripe strawberry, cassis, cherry licorice, and sweet tobacco.
With the first taste on the palate there is lovely blackberry, black cherry, kirsch, strawberry, black currant, green bell pepper, and bit of leather, and a smokey note.
This wine is well balanced with medium + acidity and a smooth mouth feel with fine sandy tannins.
For a second lable wine this is a hell of a deal. For a young wine this is drinking well right now. I would recommend this wine all day long.

Pop n pour and enjoy! 33 year old second growth isn't an aria, but she's got some pipes. Stinky barnyard on the nose _ no complaints — 10 years ago
Some damn fine Bordeaux - circa 2000 — 10 years ago
2013 vintage, which wasn't an option. Lemon and wet stone on the nose. More fruit/less acid on the palate. Kind of a candied lemon peel quality with a little zippiness. Not bad at all for a $10 bottle! — 10 years ago
Best red I've had in a while. Heavy body, plum, a little spice. Really really like. — 12 years ago

Fallbrook CA is in San Diego county, California. Far from Australia! And it is in my back yard, walking distance. We love their red wines. This one is hearty and complex. Good with food or alone. — 8 years ago
Very deep garnet. Pronounced aromas of confiture fruits and spices. Medium-full body. Elegant, delicate wine. Grape varieties: CabS 43%, Merlot 33%, CabF 19%, Petit Verdo 5%. Old vines (50 years). 18 ha in biodynamics. Concrete, wood and steel tanks. Aging 15-17 mo in oak barrels (45% new). Racking every 5 mo w/ candle and egg white fining. Château du Tertre is 5th growth Grand Cru. It is worth checking its 2nd label Les Hauts du Tertre where the only difference is younger vines (20-25 years). Rating 4,1/5 — 8 years ago
Nice aromas of berries and oak. Great finish that is rich — 9 years ago
Oh Lordy the stems, bright and lifted, perfect with puttanesca tonight — 10 years ago
This is how Pinot Noir is suppose to taste! Wow...just in time too! — 10 years ago
You can definitely smell the Riesling's influence at 35% and the Pinot blanc at 33% seems to do the job of sliming it out and giving it some vibrancy - then the Pinot gris and gerwurztraminer give it a bit of elegance. Interesting and delicious white. — 11 years ago
