Schoolbook pinot with warm strawberry and sloeberry fruit. Cranberries on the finish. Some oak and spices on the finish. Simply very enjoyable! — 4 years ago
Every time I drink a Two Shepherds wine I wish I had more in my cellar. A true “Rhône ranger” producing some of the best rhône-style wines in California. We all need to drink more Two Shepherds and support innovative winemakers who think about product quality before profit and ratings. Thanks to my dear friend Bruce for introducing me to Two Shepherds and supplying me! — 6 years ago
Deep purple colors in the glass. Heavy cab with blueberry, vanilla, and tasting notes of earth. Very yummy cab and went perfectly with pot roast. — 7 years ago

Strawberry nose. Cooked strawberry in the glass. Low alcohol and classic California fruit. Fruit forward but well balanced with good acidity. A good one for a great price if you like this style. — 10 years ago

100% Santa Barbera Sangiovese fermented via Carbonic Maceration. Bright garnet color with a ruby core. Bright aromas of red berry fruit, violets and minerals. Flavors of red cherry, raspberry, currant, cranberry and strawberry fruit with additional notes of rhubarb and that hint of mineral. Medium length finish and crisp acidity. Quite tangy and refreshing. Light bodied and easy to drink. Very Beaujolais-like. Excellent pairing with the meat lovers pizza we had today! — a year ago
Medium ruby color.
Aromas of red fruit, licorice.
Dry. Flavors of cassis, soft vanilla, licorice, blackberry leaf. Rich, velvety tannins. Juicy!

Wish I had more of these in my cellar. Drinking great w an impeccable balance of black fruit, savory and mildly spicy elements. Fully resolved texture, and vibrantly alive, this could take more time in cellar. — 6 years ago
2002 holding up very nicely -- elegance with structure! — 10 years ago
Loving this, it's a Pinot with all the elements I love in Cayuse — 13 years ago

2007. I asked the sommelier about the 2007 Alban Viognier and he said that he had opened a bottle last week but hadn’t poured any yet. Definitely the color shows some age, but the flavors and aromas were Viognier. — a year ago
